  • Euro CD-Single- 10/01/00
  • The European CD-Single of "Satellite Blues" being released tomorrow includes unreleased live versions of "Whole Lotta Rosie" and "Let There Be Rock" from Madrid's Plaza De Toro 96. It can be ordered at 101cd. All other CD-Singles from "Stiff Upper Lip" can be ordered from the Merchandise page.

  • Complete CD Catalog Box Set - 10/01/00
  • A 17-CD Box Set is set to be released this month in Europe (France on October 17th, Germany October 23rd). It will include digipak versions of the 16 European albums (without "Stiff Upper Lip") with all original vinyl album components, the "Live From The Atlantic Studios" CD, and a bonus CD with rare tracks. More details on this release soon.

  • Australian date announced - 10/03/00
  • The Sydney Morning Herald just reported today that the band will play Sydney's Entertainment Centre on January 30. Tickets go on sale on October 16. Check the article here. Six Other Australian dates have also just been announced. Check the tour page for all details.

  • Concert Broadcast in the US - 10/05/00
  • The SFX Radio Network is airing a 2-hour concert special with AC/DC next weekend on over 175 stations across the U.S. (October 12-15) The show was recorded at the America West Arena in Phoenix on September 13, 2000. Below is a list of all US Stations broadcasting the concert:

  • New Releases - 10/14/00
  • A number of reissues have been or will be released in Europe very shortly. Here's what coming:
    - A CD Box including If You Want Blood, Powerage, Highway To Hell, released in the UK on September 4th.
    - "No Bull" DVD, with video clip, "The Making of" & lyrics. Released in Europe October 9th.
    - The entire catalogue (minus Stiff Upper Lip) reissued in Digipak form in France on October 17th.
    - A double CD with Ballbreaker & Stiff Upper Lip, released in France on October 17th.
    - "AC/DC In The 20th Century" 17 CD Box Set containing all albums minus Stiff Upper Lip, plus a live CD, released October 31st.

  • Additional Australian dates - 10/16/00
  • Extra concerts have just been added to the upcoming Australian tour in Sydney and Melbourne, as both dates sold out in a matters of hours today. Check out the updated schedule on the tour page. Additionally, Albert Productions has just set up a website specially for this Australian tour where you can find all details about each show, with tour details, ticket outlet locations, venue info, directions, etc. Check it out at www.accadacca.net.

  • Tragedy at Gent's concert - 10/18/00
  • Tragedy struck during the opening night of the band's European tour in Gent, Belgium, last Saturday, as a fan accidentally died after falling some 30 feet to the floor. Although no official word has yet been issued, this was reported in Monday's New Musical Express website:
    "An AC/DC fan died as a result of injuries sustained in a fall during the band's first date of the European leg of their world tour in the Belgian town of GHENT on Saturday (October 14).
    The man is said to have climbed onto a chair during the one of the rockers' encores before slipping and falling some 13 metres onto a concrete floor below. He died later in hospital. A spokesperson for the venue, Ghent's Flander's Expo Centre confirmed this morning that the tragedy had happened but had no further available details."

  • Live performance on French TV - 10/30/00
  • AC/DC appeared on French TV's Canal+ program "Nulle Part Ailleurs" and performed 5 tracks live in their studios. Only two were aired ("Stiff Upper Lip" and "Highway To Hell"), while the 3 remaining will be aired at a later date as part of their monthly program.

  • More Australian dates - 10/30/00
  • Due to huge demand extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne have been announced. The 3rd Melbourne and 4th Sydney concerts went on sale today. These are the final shows to go on sale for the Stiff Upper Lip Australian tour. check all dates & info on the tour page or the Alberts AccaDacca Tour page.

  • Dave Evans Live CD released - 10/18/00
  • Dave Evans' live CD "A Hell Of A Night", which was recorded earlier this year on February 19th in Sydney is now available for orders. The CD contains the following tracks, all sang by Dave with AC/DC-tribute band Thunderstruck:
