- "Stiff Upper Lip"
tour packages - 08/01/01
- A "Stiff Upper Lip Special Tour Edition" package is being released
today by Albert Productions thru EMI in Australia. It includes
the full album with a bonus CD containing the following:
· Cyberspace (Non-album track)
· Back In Black (Live Madrid 96)
· Hard As A Rock (Live Madrid 96)
· Ballbreaker (Live Madrid 96)
· Whole Lotta Rosie (Live Madrid 96)
· Let There Be Rock (Live Madrid 96)
· Stiff Upper Lip (Video)
· Safe In New York City (Video)
· Satellite Blues (Video)
The inclusion of 3 videos on a CD (for PC format only) is a premiere
for AC/DC and a very cool bonus, specially considering the fact
that the clip of "Safe In New York City" has hardly been shown
in the US. "Satellite Blues" is also being released as a CD-Single
in Australia today, with "Let There Be Rock" live from Madrid
96. It can be ordered at 101cd.com.
Similarly, on January 24th, EastWest Japan is releasing a "Japan
Tour" mini-CD (AMCY-7231, Not packaged with the album) featuring:
· Stiff Upper Lip
· Cyberspace
· Back In Black (Live Madrid 96)
· Hard As A Rock (Live Madrid 96)
· Whole Lotta Rosie (Live Madrid 96)
This is also avaialble at 101cd.com. EastWest Japan is also completing
the re-issue of the entire catalog in vinyl-like CD (The same
format released last October in Europe) with "High Voltage", "Dirty
Deeds", "Let There Be Rock", "Powerage", "74 Jailbreak", "Fly
On The Wall", "Who Made Who" and "Blow Up Your Video" being released
on January 24th. The other albums have been available since December
13th. The Japanese record company also launched a very cool (even
cooler if you read Japanese) AC/DC site at: http://www.warnermusic.co.jp/artists/international/acdc/index.html
All Vinyl-like CD replicas can be ordered thru the updated merchandising
page, including the limited edition European-only Box Set (order
at 101cd.com) which includes all 16 albums plus Live From The
Atlantic Studios.

- Fake promo Lp - 01/08/01
- For those of you who noticed a few so-called "UK Promo-only"
Lp's of "If You Want Blood" in colored vinyl surfacing last month,
beware. These are simply non-official pirate releases from Germany,
with a much lower value, absolutely not "Promo-only" as indicated
on the sleeve. For die-hard collectors who have to have it all
only...
