2010 "Black Ice" NZ/Australian Tour

Reviews from 13 Feb. 2010 : Melbourne, VIC Australia (Etihad Stadium)

judith, NSW, Australia:
I have social anxiety and decided to see AC/DC in Melbourne. It was the biggest adrenalin rush I have ever had in my whole entire life. As shaky as I was when I first entered the Etihad Stadium because of all the people, AC/DC were amazing and the best band I have ever seen, well done AC/DC, it is truly a memory I will cherish forever.

Bob Halliday, Melbourne:
After many years I finally got to see AC/DC "live"at the Etihad stadium Melbourne. I felt so proud to see a fellow Geordie (local lad who did good!) Brian Johnson, lifting the roof off the place with the very accomplished band. As always Angus was entertainment personified, the atmosphere was electric, what a band, what a night!

Lyen Rouillon, Melbourne, Australia:
Absolutely (awesome) show, ROCK LEGENDS show how it's done.
Angus is amazing and is a true showman whipping the crowd up with his guitar playing and nothing away from Brian Johnson, because at 63 he can still belt the tunes out.
My 16 yr old daughter also loved it and thought they ROCK!!

Danny, Melbourne, Australia:
I went to the first show in Melbourne on 11th Feb and then on the 13th with my brother who is another AC/DC nut.

We queued up an hour before the gates opened and managed to secure the best spot in the house and were only a couple meters from the stage.

The guys were absolutely breath-taking once again and didn't miss a beat. I honestly thought before the tour that this would be their last album/tour. After what I witnessed, these guys are machines and will keep going and going! We saw them in 1996 and 2001 and these guys have not changed one bit and keep hitting those notes.

A few people have made comment on the number of songs they played from their new album. I guess we can't have everything and for a band that's been going since 1973, it's very hard to cram in your best songs in 2 hours. If it was up to me I would have loved to hear Jailbreak, Rocker, Who Made Who, Dog Eat Dog .... where do I stop.

The crowd was fantastic and the highlight of both shows I saw was The Jack and the fine ladies revealing some flesh on the big screens.

These guys have the best job in the world.

All in all, a must see rock event. I'll be in Adelaide to capture the moment again for one last time before the train pulls up for the end of the tour.

Lloyd Bull, Dysart QLD Australia:
These guys just keep on getting better, saw them in 1981 Back In Black in Sydney, took my teenage daughters and we really had a great time listening to these guys play, they absolutely rocked Ethiad Stadium, great crowd, atmosphere and performance topped off with sensational light show and quality music. They played for almost 2hrs straight, Angus is still the legend of electric guitar and still sets a cracking pace with his performance. Well worth the trip down from Queensland to see them in a great city and location. Thanks guys for yet another stellar performance.
